Located about the Brazos River in Young and Palo Pinto counties. It can be west of Fort Well worth Texas around Texas Highway sixteen. The lake location is 17,620 acres which has a maximum depth of 145 toes. It had been impounded in 1941 and is particularly controlled with the Brazos River Authority
